How Do I: Windows Media on demand

Please use the following info for FTP access:
FTP host: your URL.
FTP port: 21
FTP username and passwords

Once logged in, you may upload your Windows Media files (mp3 or wma audio files or wmv video files)

Enter the relevant information for your on demand file in the .
an example url to a on demand file would look like this

audio
mms://sh5.audio-stream.com/pubpointname/whateverfilename.wma

mms://sh5.audio-stream.com/pubpointname/whateverfilename.mp3

video
mms://sh5.audio-stream.com/pubpointname/whatevervideo.wmv

replacing pubpointname with your assigned publishing point name
and actual file name.

Instructions:

1. Please open up notepad, or your favorite text editor.
2. Select the text above and paste it into your text editor.
3. Replace everything that is in red above to the relevant information for your files
3 Save the file as whatever_you_want_to_name_it.asx
4. Now ftp/upload this file to your website.
5. Link it up on your web page wherever you like.
