How do I: Setup an Intro File

How do I: Set up an Intro file in the Control panel:

  1. Log into the Streaming control panel (IE http://sh2.audio-stream.com or one of our other streaming servers)
  2. Click on "Configure Server Account" under the Account Management menu.
  3. click on the "Files" tab
  4. Click on the browse button and find the file you wish to upload and select Ok.
    • Your file must be encoded the same bit rate (kbps), kHz, and number of channels (stereo or mono) as your live stream is encoded. So if you are streaming at  "Example : 128 kbps 44 khz STEREO" on your live stream your intro file must be encoded the same.
  5. in order to have this take afect you will now need to stop and restart the streaming server by clicking on "Restart Server" under the Server Control menu
