How do I: Setup Spacial Audio Statistic Relay for SHOUTcast

Setup Spacial Audio Statistic Relay for SHOUTcast

The final step is to create a Statistics relay for the streaming server.

A statistic relay simply grabs the current status and viewer count from each server, reporting the details to SAM2. Without a statistic relay, SAM2 will not know where listeners can connect to listen to your music and it will also not accurately report the count of listeners connected to your stream.

  1. In the Statistic Relays window click on the ‘+' button
  2. Select SHOUTcast Statistic Relay, click OK
  3. Enter SHOUTcast server details (found on your Welcome email from SleepyEngineers).
    • Enter Host in Host field
    • Enter Port in port field
    • Enter password in password field (must use your ShoutCAST Admin Password)
  4. Click OK
  5. Statistic Relay should now say ‘Active (OK)'
